PHOCUS is Vassar College’s only student photography organization. The club is a space for photographers on campus to collaborate and a resource for students to discover and learn about the art of photography. We teach workshops, hold critiques, sponsor shows, host guest lectures, publish a yearly magazine, FIX, and host many other activities to make photography accessible within the Vassar community. With many thanks to Andrea Baldeck, the club runs a cooperative darkroom open to all students.
PHOCUS meets regularly and hosts weekly darkroom office hours. Please refer to our emails (or sign up for emails below!) for meeting details and locations.
